Getting Around

The Sofitel Brisbane is in the heart of Brisbane City and accessible by most forms of public transport.

Trains
The venue is located above Central Train Station, which is the main train station in Brisbane City. Most trains traveling into Brisbane will stop at Central Station. Buses
A large number of buses stop outside or within the vicinity of Central Station. A free city loop bus also operates every 10 minutes within the city centre and stops on Ann Street outside central station. Brisbane Air Train
Brisbane Air Train operates from domestic and international terminals directly to Central Station (Sofitel) and Roma Street Station (Holiday Inn). Trains depart every 20-30 minutes (please see attached timetable) and take 20 minutes to arrive at the airport. It is recommended that all delegates traveling to the airport on Saturday 1 September catch the Air Train due to traffic constraints from the RiverFire Festival.
